ok, my plans are to cram 33s up under the "Hoss" as easy as possible with no rubbing. I know guys say they run 33s with some rubbing and 32s with no rubbing at all. So TECHNICALLY shouldnt i be able to use a front leveling kit (1 1/2" high lift front coil springs) and put on 33s with no rubbing? (i saw the springs on ebay for about $100). Also if anyones got pics with the front leveling kit on id like to see them.
When you change your springs you'll have to have the front end re-aligned also... they'll install adjustable camber bushings at the ball joints and straighten the front wheels back up. If they don't come with the springs you can get them at almost any alignment shop.
I have a Rough Country leveling kit on mine (that I got off of ebay). You can check my gallery for pictures. One more thing to look at when running those tires is the backspacing of the rims. That can help determine if you will have some rubbing issues.
wheelMA1, did the leveling kit you have come with all the extra little things you may need like camber bushings? Also what kinda wheel backspacing would i need to fit 33s?
No, they didnt come with the leveling kit, but I purchased them seperately from R.C.. If you check on ebay, the user I purchased mine from was 'davy1445', or something similar. He probably has some lift kits up there now. As for the backspacing, I do not know. I have no experience with 33"s on broncos, but I know that it can come into play. You might want to use the search function, or make another post asking that question. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.
