Emission Light Blinking and other failures
Coming home from work yesterday I notice my Emissions light blinking. Then I'm looking at the oil pressure gage and temp gage. Both were running way higher than normal. No collant leaks, but yet to determine coolant levels. Anyone have any ideas as to the cause of the problem??

well i do not know what kind of help i can give you but i can tell you how much that light is worth and what it does. Ok i have a 1986 Bronco that came with an EFI 302.........Well now the truck has a 351w...carb and NO computer controlls what so ever not even the origanl wire harness i completely ripped the computer out of the bronco and still every time i start the truck that light comes on for about 5 seconds and then goes off. Why and how is a mystery all i can tell you is that either my truck is haunted or that is nothing more then a "dummy" light the oil gauge always read low at idle and high on the freeway. Temp gauge i could use as a mini tach. faster i went hotter i got and some how it got worse when i put a 3 core towing radiator in --------- bottom line go get some after market gauges (mech. not electric) and then you will really know what is going on under the hood. good luck
