Flexplate after rebuild?

This is a dumb question....but what do I do with my flexplate after rebuilding the motor? Do I replace it, resurface it, wha..?

Just clean and check it, look at the teeth on the ring gear, all the way around to make sure they're ok, not worn from starter engagement, look at the bolt holes where it bolts to the flywheel and torque converter, look at the welds where the ring gear is welded to the flex plate, look for cracks. Really, there's not much to go wrong. Should take longer to clean it than to inspect it.
