Hey guys, I recently purchased an 1982 Lincoln Mark VI with the 302 that I wanted to fix up. The problem is that it won't start. I looked at the fuel injectors and it doesn't look like they are spraying any fuel. I took the fuel lines off and turned the key on and the fuel pump pumped a good amount of fuel out the line. Does anybody have any ideas on what could be causing this problem. Could it be the PCM or other electronic controller that plays a part in fuel injectors? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Braxton
It's possible. You can by a noid light at autozone to see if the injectors are getting a signal.
It's been my experience on the Ford TBI units that the injectors will stick if not used for awhile.
You might try keeping it running with starting fluid and smacking the injectors with the handle end of a screwdriver. I have gotten 2 of them running this way.
