Expl. 5.0 in f 150

My '95 F 150 2wd needs a new 5.0 (AODE). The Explorer 5.0 has better heads and more HP's, any reason I wouldn't want to obtain one of them to swap in?
I have MAF so the computer should handle it.. right?

If you use your intake, distributor ,oil pan, timing cover, brackets and headers made for GT40p heads it will be otherwise a bolt in.

front cover?

I expected some of those items but wasn't expecting to have to change the front cover.
Will the truck manifolds fit the explorer heads?

Thanks for the replies!
