88 bronco rear window inoperable
i have a 1988 ford bronco 4x4 and the rear window is inop. i checked the fuses, replaced the window motor and switch and it still doesnt work. all of the wiring is hot except when the window down button is pressed. does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? if you have any ideas of what it may be please post your response. anything will help. feel free to email me if you have any specifics atorres12@hotmail.com

I have a similar problem once in a while ,there is a switch on the left side of the tailgate that will not let the window go down unless the gate is completely closed.Sometimes you can just push on the gate and turn the keyswitch and it will go down.If not you may have a bad or out of adjusment switch.Of course providing you have power to to that safety switch.In not it might be further down the circuit.
