No electrical power

Hi, I have a 1985 F350 w/6.9 diesel. The truck shut off on me the other day. Seems there is no power to the truck. No headlights...nothing. Batteries are good. I don't know whats wrong.

Can anyone help?

Well, if this was an 87 Ranger I would tell you to check fuse link E which powers the ignition switch & headlight fuses. If you dont get an answer from one of the other guys, go here www.helminc.com & buy the Ford "Eletrical & vacuum troubleshooting manual" best 20 bucks you will spend when it comes to troublshooting electrical problems. It will tell you which fuse link to check.

Check the obvious :

Condition of Battery,Battery Cables & Connections,

Then : Fusible link which is in the harness going to the starter solenoid/Battery post
