Stalling from drive to park?
</O
I have an 87 F150 / 302 - 94000 km ; and am experiencing a recurring problem of the engine stalling when I pull into my drive way and put it in park. It drives fine and does not seem to have a problem when operating in drive (Though it did stall once when I came to a stop sign on a hill). Its not stalling when I put power down, more so when I take it away. Basically when I put it in park the RPMs drop so fast it just stalls.<O

I thought initially it was because I had my EEC unplugged from the battery for an hour or so and the computer had to relearn (because the problem seemed to start after I removed the battery to install power locks), this idea came from something I read in the forums, but I have had the truck out driving for quite a few days since then and the problem is still there.
I have also had some problems with a noisy smog air pump / which I just replaced with one from the wreakers, no change in this problem though.
Anyone have any ideas?<O
