LED Taillights?

There are some 1157 replacement LED's but they are pricey. I haven't had the nerve to spend the 20 something bucks apiece for them. I think I would try one in my harley first to see how long it lasts.

I've priced those bulbs too. I don't understand why there so high, LED's are dirt cheap. Theres got to be a gazillion cars on the road that use 1157's. I like that they are brighter (might lessen the chance of gettin rear ended) and should last forever.
Anybody out there know a good place to get some?

yota,if you just want to brighten things up a bit,i`ve read here in the forums that if you`ll replace your stock 16 or 18 guage wires to your headlights and tailights with larger guage wires,they will burn 25% brighter.if you decide to do it,let me know how it works out..............wayne
