I was browsing thompsons website, and was wondering, has anyone tryed the iguanas, there the green ones??? they sound like theyd be good but i wanted to find out before i bought a box and turned out they sucked. thanks.
I know I'm kinda late on this thread...But I gave up cigarettes for Swisher Sweets Little Cigars. They are the same size as cigarettes and they also have a filter.I prefer the Cherry flavor.BTW,they cost a little over $2 a pack,vs. cigarettes over $3 a pack.It doesn't stink up the truck lol. They're pretty good.I've never really tried any other brands though, except for Backwoods.I looooooooove their Rum cigars .
Good luck on your search.Maybe I can pick up something new that I'd like to try also .
Ah yes, I forgot how cheap cigarettes were down south. I think my buddy smokes Marlboro regulars, and pays $5.50 a pack up here. He must really need those things to pay that kind of price.
i smoked a fonseca a few days ago, it was pretty good. i also enjoy the romeo y julietas as mentioned above...also had an industrial press once, it was really good, square shaped

Yeah...He must really need 'em to pay that. The higher prices are coming here, sooner or later.Next time you're somewhere where they sell cigars, see what a regular pack of 20 Swisher Cherry Little's cost.Of course,I guess that the complete tobacco market has increased its prices in everything from cigs to snuff.

i'm not big into cigars, but i thought i'd add my .02 worth here. if you're looking for some pretty good stogies....comparable to cubans....you may be interested in trying some honduran cigars. they pull nicely and have an appealing flavor. quality honduran cigars are also a lot cheaper.
a friend of mine owns a factory in the town of danli, honduras. the name of the factory is las marias. i believe the cigars carry the name embassy or something like that. i'm not sure....the cigars i smoked came right out of the factory without the rings on them. anywho....his cigars aren't the cream of the crop, but i liked them. there are numerous other producers to choose from.
If you can find the Arturo Fuente Hemingway series, I suggest you give them a try. They are pretty hard to come by where I'm at, but they won't disappoint. Another good one is Padron, and for about $3 each, they aren't too expensive.
Arturo Fuente - Churchill natural or Hemingway "short stories" are my personal favorites. Very smooth and you can smoke them for a while without getting tired of the flavor.

I'm partial to the "work of art" cigars, but the short stories are excellent too.
Have you ever tried the Fuente opus x?
I like Romeo y Julieta's and Macanudos. I also can get true Cubans out of Australia shipped to my door which is pretty cool. I know in Texas I have found them as well but flying there to pick them up is kind of cost prohibitive.
