oil questions
When a 94.5 7.3 psd gets down to add how much oil does it take to fill it back up and how much oil cumsumption is normal for this engine with 2800,000 km on it not miles.

The 1994.5 PSD takes 12 quarts of oil. HERE is a link that compares the 1994.5 PSD to the old IDI and IDI turbo. Sometime after the first PSDs the capacity was changed to 14 quarts. I know that all of the 1995s take 14 quarts, but I'm not sure if any of the 1994.5 took 14 as well. All the 1999+ PSDs, both 7.3 and 6.0, take 15 quarts. Put in 12 and see where it stands on the dipstick.
