Coolant additive
Hello there
I own a 94.5 7.3 psd that has 280,000 km on it not miles and just reacently purchased the truck.I checked the coolant the other day and it was a clean green color not gold to show there is additive in there I'am not sure if ther ever was any additive added to it before,what should I do add the additive now or what.And if I was to add the additive what do I ask for at the autoparts dealer.Please reply any information would be helpful.

Thanks for your rply johnsdiesel,Iwas wondering is realy necessary to use the additive and if so what will happen to an engine if you do not use it.Because I think with my kind of mileage it might be to late.
