94 idi performance upgrades
what are some good performance mods?? i am new to diesels and just got a swweett deal on 94 f-250 4x4 7.3 idi 5 spd sc and would like to do some mods!! i dont know much about diesels ,so where do istart.

I was new once to something, then i wore it out.
check posts back the last 6 mos since I joined.
I would follow all the suggestions of these posts but bucks are rare
Look on the breather lid & if its got a bowl,remove that wad thats blocking the intake better yet turbo the baby, but first get a check on your coolant for a idea on cavitation threats.( pinholes in cyl from air bubs vib'n.
Its the mileage thats important when mod'ng your horse.Low miles & good maintenance are always a plus.When adding intake volume ,remember youmust equal or better the exhaust to get response.Most owners of rhe i.d.i., seem to got to 4" with flothro mufflers for little backpresseure.

Get an idea from miles & workload B4 & oil analyses on the crank bearings if you plan to turbo with one of the aftermrktr's out there.
