which is faster?
I need to know which would have a higher final drive ratio. I have a 2wd NP435 attached to a NP205 going into a 4:10 axle ratio. Would 2nd gear in 4 wheel high be faster than 3rd gear in 4 wheel low or the other way around? This is a truck pulling question and are currently looiking for more wheel speed. Are there disadvantages to pulling in high range? (im currently using low) Thx in advance

or find the ratio for the transmission and do the math, sorry i don't know it off the top of my head but i'm sure somebody does. but trial and error will tell you what will work best.
