Question Gear ratio question

I am currently running 3.50 gears w/33" mud tires. I am running the stock 360 ci engine np435 trans/dana 21 tcase. I am building a 460 ci engine for it and want to put a c-6 /np205 in it. What is a good gear ratio for pulling my trailer up steep hills and off road trail use? The reason for the c-6 is because I hate shifting but Ive been told the np435 is better for hauling my trailer and off road.I f I keep the np435 and marry a np205 tcase to it would that change the gear ratio I choose? If I marry a np205 to my np435 trans what would it require.....an adapter or something?

Gear ratio question

I wasn't going to post since I don't know squat about towing but I'll take a stab since you haven't gotten any replies. I would think with your combo/desired use 4.10s would be perfect.

Gear ratio question

Good rule of thumb. multiply .12 by the tire diameter and that give a good place to start for a ring & pinion gear ratio.
