never any luck

please help me. i have a 87 250 in line 6. the truck was running just fine. i drove over some rr tracks and the thing just shut off. i thought it may ran out of gas. switched to my reserve and it just wouldnt start. i pushed it to a friends house that was near by. the next day went to look at it. thought mabye the tank switch broke so threw some gas in front. still nothing. checked to see if plugs were sparking and they didnt. so i took off the distributor cap and the damn screws both just snapped off. got the cap back on and same thing would start. couldnt see yet if its sparking yet cause by the time i got the cap back on its 9 at night and i was alone and no one to turn the engine over. i also check one of the plugs and it was dry im not sure but thought there should be at least some gas on it. this truck is really ****ing me off. first the belt went, then the thermostat, then heater core, then power steering, now this. all like a week after each other. but i have no idea what to do next short of taking it to a shop or blowing it up. any one have thoughts or anything that helps. but now i need to clean the sweat, dirt, grease, and blood off. thanks for any insite

check all of your electrical connections you possibly could have knocked somthing loose. if you dont think your getting any gas then turn the key on without starting it and listen for the fuel pumps and relays. if you dont here the pumps check your inurtia? switch. if your rigs like my 88 f150 the it should be on the fire wall to the left of the brake pedal. if its out the just pop it back in. hope this helps.
