Adaptive Driving?

Not sure what you mean by "adaptive driving." Taking a stab at it: I know the EEC-IV system (early '80's to '95) uses what they call "adaptive strategy." This means that as the computer monitors sensors etc., It can make small adjustments to its engine control alogorithm to adapt to changes in the engine as the engine components age/wear. I can only assume that the EEC-V system ('96-on) has a similar functionality.

Well I was reading this artical that said something about ford haveing systems that can change based on the drivers driving personality(like shft points and idling speeds) and iwas wondering if it was true??
