Searching for dry air

Well, I've been on a search for the best way to assure nice, dry air from my compressor, and some Forunm folks have helped, so here's what I came up with.
My compressor sits against the back wall of our three car garage. I have just been using a 25' 3/8 hose to run my air tools and Plasma Cutter, but, upon buying a new plasma cutter I deciided drier air was in order. I used 1/2 " galvanized metal pipe, put a "T" fitting out of the compressor's regulator/water filter and went up to the ceiling, and a 2 foot "drop" at the bottom, with a ball valve drain in it for moisture accumulation. Went across the ceiling with a 3 inch drop to a 20 foot coil of 3/8" id flexible copper tubing, which coils down (looks like a still) between two of the doors, to another "T", with another 2 foot drop to a ball valve, and at the "T" air exits up a 45 elbow up to another water filter then out. I can put a fan on the coils to further cool them when I'm working. possibly with a "mister".
I don't know how to post any pictures.

Your best bet is to use a refrigeated air dehydrator. We use them to condense the moisture out of air that is used in control air for pneumatic HVAC controls. They are expensive though.

Yup, a de- hi is good. A cheaper way is to build a condenser that goes between the comp pump and the tank. A couple guys, Echo for one has copied old fart Franz's design over on www.weldingweb.com I think echo has posted design pics.
