Diesel Fuel

Does it matter which pumps one uses at truck stops to fill up with diesel fuel? In other words can I use the pumps the semi's use or should I use the RV/Car diesel pump?

I don't think it matters, fuel-wise. The problem with the semi pumps is that they may have a larger nozzle and they pump so much volume that you have to fill very slowly or the thing keeps shutting itself off. I haven't noticed this problem with the RV pumps.

Use whatever is open.

The semi pumps are faster and have a bigger nozzle. Make sure that you have the "big gulp" fuel filler inlet first or the semi nozzle won't fit.
