Thumbs up Confidence is mine

Hello Gentlemen,

I'm new to the forum. I must say that mechanical things are not my forte. I have been given the gift of confidence by you. Last night I changed all 4 of my belts on my 1986 6.9 diesel. I consider myself to be very good with wood working, but when it came to engines I would run to the mechanic and plea stupidity. But after hearing you guys speak of the things you are doing with your trucks, I thought what am I afraid of. So with a handful of tools I walked out to the truck and replaced all 4 belts in about 45 minutes. Thank you for your help in diminishing my fears of doing some of my own work.

Thank You,

Raised with Ford.

All right! Where's Wilkeson at? Are you on the eastern side?

Besides, you may need to fix things sometimes when no mechanic is anywhere close.

Besides that, you can also gain a great understanding of how your truck works inside.

Spectra,

Wilkeson is southeast of Puyallup, by about 10 miles. I have an 6 acre chuck of land. Land is more reasonable down here. Fun around here is working my John Deere tractor.

Oh, ok. I looked at my road atlas, it wasn't in there. We're practically neighbors, heh-heh. 45-60 minute neighbors anyway!
