Shift Kit for 2000 Expy?

Shift Kit for 2000 Expy?
Hey all, I tow a camper and was thinking about putting a mild shift improver kit in my X. I was wondering if anyone out there has installed a shift kit on their truck. I've heard that contrary to popular belief, shift kits actually improve tranny life b/c the slipping while shifting gears is what wears them out. The only downside to the shift kit is a little rougher / more harsh shift (but some people like that). So does anyone have any input, and if you would recommend what make or style shift kits are good?

I like firmer shifts. I've used B&M and Transgo in other applications and have a superchips tuner installed in my Expy. The tuner programs allow for firmer shifting in addition to the other performance enhancing features.

I love the tuner for its versatility and performance gains. I would recommend it to anyone. I don't think the shifts are a firm as those achieved with the true shiftkits, but much improved over stock.
You might try a search for shiftkit or similar language. A few guys around here installed them in the past. From what I remember they liked the change.
