header for a 2.5L
does anyone know if a header from a 2.3 would fit (bolt up/clearance)? i've got a 2000 ranger 2.5L. I heard from a company called Racer Walsh that their 2.3 header would bolt up but there may be clearance issues. can anyone give me some insight? thanks!

The 2.3 and 2.5 are basically the same engine, just the crank, rods and pistons are different. So to answer your question, Yes, a 2.3 header will bolt up to a 2.5. Don't know about the 2 spark plug heads, not sure if they have the same exhaust bolt pattern as the older "d" and oval port heads.
Racer Walsh know they're stuff about 2.3/2.5 engine, there is lots of good info from them.
