Whatsup everyone, looking for some advice here. My 2000 X Sport's Step bars are starting to develop rust around the plastic step in the metal housing and my plan is to pry the plastic piece out by scoring around the edges and hopefully finding some clips underneath. Then I was going to grind out the rust, fill where necessary and repaint it. Just was wondering if anyone has attempted this and if anyone has any tips.....thanks.....
