Liked your mod so much I went out and did the same thing on my 2000X. I have one question -- did you get silverstars (clear when off, amber when on) to replace the turn signal bulb? If so, do you have a part # you can share with us?

Yes, I purchased SilverStar headlights and the SilverStar turnsignal bulbs. No number for the turnsignal bulbs, I threw the package away. They were not hard to find; I think the package and/or book clearly stated these were the replacement for our stock turnsignal number. NOTE: They are not as amber in the day as they are at night. Have not had a chance to use the new set-up since install due to #3 spark plug blowing out; it's at the dealership waiting for the new head to come in. Also, have patience with bottom headlight holding clip....it IS a bear to come out but very to install. Good luck.
