Is price more important than body style? I can get you a price on a 2WD regular-cab, but if what you need is a Crew Cab 4x4, then that price doesn't mean much. Give me a better idea of what you're looking for, and I can give you a better idea on price.

I try to keep life simple as well as my truck
It is all about the bottom line for me (my current truck dident even have floor mats)
have decided that the diesel is worth the extra cost
i would go with a single rear wheel f350 if the difference from a f250 was small
really want a 4x4 but cannot justify the additional costs (belive they are significant)
was considering talking with some of the local fleet managers
because it seems that I am looking for a stripped down model (work truck) with the diesel engin as the only option (the biggest bang for my buck)
desent even need to have bumpers, planning to get ranch hand aftermarket
sorry long post, in summery
basic truck
silver
diesel engin
manual trans

thanks for the info

I just ran a nation-wide search, and there are 2, F-250s like this: a white one @ Jones-West Ford in Reno, NV, and a silver one @ Red Bluff Ford in Red Bluff, CA. Regular-cab diesel stick-shifts w/ air cond. and nothing else. You can try to work a deal with them, or wait and order a 2005. But who knows what the 2005 price will be, and what rebates might be, if any. If price is key, then the 2004 is gonna cost you a lot less.
