Need I mention, these are the official specs from ford as of MAY 19, 2004. As others have mentioned in other threads, ford is notorious for making changes at the last minute. I will update everyone upon confirmation of any changing specifications between now and first delivery of the 2005 YM vehicles.

It's nice to see that the boost gauge and idle control will be standard features.

I dig the boost gauge and most other things but the larger 17 and 18" rims I don't like. That is just influenced by the Euro sport fad going on.

Euro??? What rock do you people live under??? Last time I was in France, England, and Spain I didn't see one truck rolling on 17's or 18's let alone a Powerstroke in Europe. Maybe Euro isn't the word. Euro is a guy wearing a speedo to the beach and socks with loafers . Allow me to broaden your automotive venacular...lets try street or street truck. I'd rather look at a nice shiny 18 inch wheel any day compared to the black sidewall of a Good Year! JMO

Did I say that there are F350's in France, Spain, Or England? Nope don't remember that. In fact when I was in France, Spain, and London I don't remember seeing any F350's then either. No what I said was this big wheel craze was all influenced by the Euro style cars used in the type of racing that you see on the other side of the pond. You know BMW's, porsches, Puegos, AlfaRomeos, and so on and so forth. This big rim thin sidewall tires were thought to be cool looking, and they do on sports cars or two drive sport trucks, and people started putting that combination on everything. The two most popular 4X4's that I see with this rediculous modification are H2's and Escalades... what up homie? Anyway, this is what I was speaking of and anyone who keep up with automotive trends would know this, that is unless you live under a rock!

P.S. I live in a house under a roof. Come to think of it the tail lights on the new chevy trucks are also very Euro style even though they got it right and didn't throw 18's on a 4X4. Good Day and God Bless!

IIRC, we have members from across the pond !!!

Can't IMAGINE what they do for service - not like there's a ford dealer on each corner !
