LuLu, getting in is interesting...... For now it's ratchet strap stirrups for the wife, and a big right thigh muscle for me. Sooner or later I will invest in some Kodiak Sidewinder steps....But that takes $$$$

Sparke454, I lost about 6 inches square in each front corner of the box. Nothing major since all hauling capability is now lost due to the fact that the tailgate is now shoulder level (OPEN) . As for the sound, if I hadn't installed the stacks I would have put a Cummins in by now. Powerstrokes (Duramaxes too) sound like crap straightpiped but the stacks are the PSD's saving grace. At about 21-2200 RPM they really start talking. If you've got the windows down, you can hear them pretty well, but they're totally transparent with the windows up rolling down the highway. I would strongly recommend heat shields around the lower portion of the stack (below the level of the bed rail). I've burned so many things (KC light covers, spare tire, oil jug, ratchet straps, etc) when they mosey on up to the front of the box. Also, when getting on the ol' girl and she starts smokin', even after 5 months of having the stacks, I STILL look in the rearview and watch the smoke bellow out.

I got the stacks from Western Star Trucks here in Helena. They're 36"x5" and they cost $110 for the pair.
