I've got a 2001 PSD with 15k miles. Two days ago I noticed a small pool of oil on top of the motor, middle rear. It looks like its leaking from one or both of the red hose couplings on both sides of the motor from the valve covers to the turbo. I tried tightening the clamps but still have the leak. I called the dealer and made an appointment for next week. They said Ford has a clamp kit out for these hoses making it sound like there has been a problem and this is the remedy. Has anyone come across this and if so does it fix the problem?
I ha d the same problem but I was able to tighten up clamps
and cleaned up oil. talk to the ford dealer. he just gave me
some new clamps and the red holes. That took care of the problem,
that was one year ago.
Now I'm leaking for the right hand side down by the enter cooler
tube.... Looks like I'm going to be working on my week end...
