Is it just me, or is it just easier to find a damn YETI than to find 10-10.5 compresion pistons for a 351 on std bore/stock length rods, stock stroke, on a 60 cc combustion chamber? ive seen UP TO 9.5 (ok, 9.8) for a 58 chamber, and then it jumps to 11 somthin! good lord! i didnt think i was askin for an act of congress, just some decent pistons! (no, not stock rods, just stock length, and no, there not cast) if anyone has any idea's (or merchants) its GREATLY appreciated
I see paw performance has a few different sets 818-678-3000, but most listed are for .030 over bores, you said standard bore. They list a set for .030 overbore 62cc heads should give 10.6:1 compression, made by srp, if they have a standard bore piston along these lines it should give you .1 less compression around 10.5:1, you could always clean up the chamber to lose a point or two and get a thicker head gasket. Those pistons were made by srp. Give'em a call
