my bosses probe (96 gt 2.5L auto) cracked a head so we(me,and a buddie)
swaped motors for him. its in ,every things good except the motor came out of a mazda. it has diffrent exhaust manifolds on it.so i reuesd the old front one but the egr line is stuck on the back one so were making a peice to fit but any how it fires up to 1500rpm for may be 4 seconds then dies. checked fule pressure and good. gas coming in to the fule railand out of. but i dont have a set of noid lights to check the injectors. any ideas on how to check the injectors with out noid lights? it runs good if you keep it full of starting fluid. it'll run a wile on it but it just wont run on gas so any ideas?
also can some one give me a few pictures of the vacum lines and routing for this can.
Run some heavy duty injector cleaner of the rail, make sure every things hooked up right, sorry never really dealt with a mazda befor dont know what to tell ya.
yes it has cats on the manifolds but i cleaned them out with compressed air and gas. bunch of nasty crap came out looked like soot. i wasnt able to do this to the rear manifold (no cat) cuz i cant get the dang thing off.
