wheel cleaner

Can anyone rccomend a good wheel cleaner for expy rims?
I let mine go for about a month and now I cant even seem to scrub them clean. I tried some cleaner from turtle-wax, but I may have well used plain water. DONT EVER BUY WHEEL CLEANER FROM TURTLE WAX. IT IS GARBAGE!!!!!!!
My normal method of soap and scrub brush is not working.
What are some of you using out there??

Thanks!!!!!

I, very occasionally, use a cleaner by Eagle 1. It seems to cut through the grime fairly well.

Plain old soap and water is my first choice.

You can buy some super fine steel wool (usually marked 0000 on package) and with a wheel cleaner just rub them clean. Keep the steel wool wet and soapy. They'll get clean.

I use MeGuiar's wheel cleaner and it works great. Spray it on, rub gently with a soft brush, rinse off and the wheels will look like new. Each wheel takes about 2 minutes.

I use Simple Green. It's not very expensive when bought by the gallon.

Wheel Magic is my long time favorite, but regardless of the brand, you still have to use some elbow grease to get them really clean. Wheel Magic also does a nice job on the inner fender panels and suspension components.

Just to follow up......

Simple green worked pretty good, but had to do it twice. But, cleaned up the rims real well.

I also bought some Eagle One for my new 300zx, that worked good as well. I will use it next time on the Expy rims, seemed to cut through the dust pretty well.

New Orange Blast is the greatest! Just spray & hose. Really, no scrub or wipe. Pep Boys has it on sale now for under $2 for 32oz.

I use Castrol Super Clean, diluted at 50%. I'll admit it does say on the bottle not to use on Alloy or Aluminum components, but i didnt read that until I had cleaned my rims a few times. It works great, no stains at all, no hard work. I have the EBC brake pads and slotted/dimpled rotors too, so my rims are a real mess after a week. When I sprayed the super clean on my motorcycle forks without diluting, it did stain them a bit, so be careful if you use this stuff, gotta dilute it. Doesnt it have that same warning on the Simple green bottle? Not to use on Alloy or Aluminum components? I think it does....
