Has anyone out there tried switching from their stock clutch fan to a electric setup? My 460 pulls real good until the fan kicks in and it's like dropping a gear.
I think that the fan must use around 15 or 20 horsepower plus a bunch of gas.

Sure wouldn't want to find out that it was inadaquate half way up the hill with my 5th wheel in the middle of summer! I lose about 5 mph. when the fan kicks in but I don't have to sweat it not cooling.
