Is automatic 4x4 bypassable?
I have a 99 Explorer Sport with the automatic (on demand) 4x4,
If I want to stay in two wheel drive is it possible to bypass this design "flaw"?
I miss my Ranger's transfer case shifter!!

There IS a thread on the forum from a few weeks ago about this question. It is possible. Do a search for it, if that doesnt work, manually scroll through the last few weeks of posts. Its in here somewhere.

Hope that it is helpful, I haven't tried yet, i am kinda nervouse, but these people say it works if you have the switch that says Auto 4hi 4low...
