I think im going to swap my 302 for the 5.0 ho but first i wanted to find out some of the capabilities of this engine. possibly some sheets on what a stock ho will put out. any help will be greatly appreciated. by the way a 5.0 ho will drop right in in place of a 302 on the aod tranny right. the guy im gettin it from said it will but i was just curious thanks

Yes a 302 h.o will bolt right up to the aod tranny, because i have the 302 h.o
in my 1990 ford f150. It has around 225 hp and 300tq i think the numbers went down after 93 to 215 hp and 295tq or somethin like that.I just used the long block, i used all my trucks intakes and acceressorys. You will need a steel gear off of a roller motors distributer to fit your distributer. Also you have to change the wires around to the 351 firing order. I hope that helps you out some as ive just done the same swap a few months ago.
