When do you fill up your gas tank?

How often or when do you fill up your gas tank on your vehicle? Just curious.
I usually fill up on Friday or Saturday.

I only am home every 3rd week, so I fill up on the way back to the docks.

I've filled the tank in my Rnager full two times each on two round trippers to Lousyana, nothing more than 1/2-any other time in the year I've had the Ranger. Now, it's like....toss $5 out and see how far that gets me every two weeks...

I take the other car and leave mine at home. It's usually empty by then anyway. This way I know that my wife will drive it and most times she'll stop and fill it up. Some may say it's laziness but really........

I fill up whenever I pass a station with decent prices. I have 2 tanks and leave my auxillary tank full pretty much all the time, filling the main tank often. I like to have a backup supply in the second tank incase I have a long trip or just don't have time to stop at the station. Plus the sender in tank 2 is goofy so I can never be 100% sure how much it really in there. Costs me $150 to $200 a week.

I use about a tank per weekday and half a tank over the weekend. I run 300 miles and fill it up...usually just when the needle hits the top of the red area I have 2-3 gallons left. On the highway, running longer deliveries, I can go up to 400 miles or more on a tank and don't fill up until that 400 mile mark.

I'd fill up every morning if there were any reaosnably priced stations near me. Too bad I'm in the ghetto part of town and the station owners are greedy. I can drive ten minutes north, east, or west, and save 10 cents on the gallon. The station closest to my apartment was one of the first in Dallas to charge over $2.00 for 87 octane gas this summer.

Below 1/2 tank and nearing 1/4, I start watching price signs on my morning runs. I know what prices have been, so when I spot the 'best' deal of the day, I fuel up.

Somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2, usually end up waiting until the price of gas goes up another 3-4 cents before filling up. Seems there is a conspiracy... I drive by a place with a good price... so I'll stop and fill up on the way back...you know it the price went up in a few hours...

I also usually fill up between 1/4 and 1/2.

I always heard it is bad to run it down to E, because if there is any junk in the bottom of the tank it will pick it up and gum things up.

With my 99 ranger (2.5 auto) I wait till its past e and the check gage light comes on which is usualy every 3 to 4 weeks because I get about 350 to 400 miles on a tank and I only drive around town to work and school.

Between 1/4 and 1/2. Don't want to let it get to low. Ran out of gas about 20 years ago, young, dumb, and very little funds. It was a very cold, long, dark walk. Didn't have a cell phone back then. But I learned another thing in life....
