Adjusting Front Seat
Got my wife's hand me down 93 AWD. Drivers front seat leans way back! Feel like I am in a dentist chair. Tried the adjusting lever and only brings it frward so far. Is there some way to adjust the mounts so I don't always feel I'm looking at the stars?

sounds like the recline mechanism is broken, or slipped.what does the passenger seat do? do they match in the upright position? i like my aerostar seats because they sit up pretty straight on my 91. you could swap driverside to passenger side. just remove them off of their respective pedistals,or switch bottoms and tops. i had mine out last year when i tried my first version of seat recovering. i did remove the back from the bottom. think it took an allen wrench at the seat hinge to remove, and a lot of persuasion...or look for one in the junk yard.or you could just get behind it and try to bend it back upright... none of my books go into much detail on the seats...

my seat leaned backward also. what i did is sit in the back seat,put my feet on the back of the drivers seat and gently pushed forward with my feet to bend the frame of the seat forward. it fixed it.
