clearcoat inside or not?
I just have painted my inside of my cab of my 1978 frd F250. Its Viper red and is really bright. I was wondering should i clearcoat the inside of the cab? I know ill clar the outside when ever i paint the outside of the cab but for now i just painted the inside. If i wouldn't clearcoat the inside of the cab i can start puttign it together tomorrow and on the truck but if i decide to clear the inside then i will have to wait till i clear it then let it dry and everythign before i can assemble it. The dash will be painted black so it wont be clearcoated.

You have a limited time window to get your basecoat topcoated, which is one reason I would clear it now.
Also, if you shoot both as the same time, there is always the chance you would be draggin hoses over some fresh laid clear.
I always divide a job such as yours over a couple spraying sessions. I just find it easier.

Being AE paint, there is actually no reason to clear your interior. Clear on AE paint is just to obtain a little more shine and durability. Not needed for your interior. Factory interior paints used to recieve a deglossed additive to make the interior shine less on purpose.
