removable window frame

Howdy yall. I'll be lookin for a new truck soon and got a question. I seen some early Broncos with the top removed and some got window frames around the side windows and some dont. Could yall tell me what years/model/whatever have the removable frames. If I was to get one of these Broncos I'd deffinatly want one with the removable frames. Thanx.

the 1966 and 1967 early broncos are the only ones that came with removeable window frames. They bolted on. 1968 and on throught 1977 the window frames where welded on.

68 351 bronc

My 68 were bolted and then spot welded. I ground the welds off to remove them during my resto. I did not reweld. couldn't see a good reason for them to be welded.

68 351 is right. The bolt on window frames were used from 66-68 until the introduction of electric wipers, and technically non folding windshields.
