Precombustion chambers
How is it that you guys are saying that your IH diesels are sensitive to fuel when they are precombustion chamber engines? I could see having a sensitivity to cetane ratings with a direct injection engine. Ok just hoping someone can straighten me out here

Glow plugs do not necessarily indicate pre-combustion chambers. Hope that straightens you out.
Powerstrokes are not Pre-Comb.

monsta, I have talked to alot of people(not on this site) with the "Old-School" mentality that "If it's got glow plugs, it's a pre-combustion engine". I just assumed that this was another similar stereotype. But then again, we all know what happens when we assume.

Old school huh? I hope you kids Realize that I built my own pump stand from scratch, And a tester for the popoff presures of nozzles with stuff I picked out of the junk back when you kids were in diapers

If the 61 in your user name denotes your year of birth, then we (you & I) are not far off...However, if it denotes your age...well, I've always been taught to respect my elders.
