Tug-o-war between PSD/Duramax/Cummins

A number of months ago I downloaded a movie clip of a Dually Duramax having a tug-o-war with the Cummins then the PSD. Has anyone else seen this? Is it for real?

The Duramax pulled the Dodge back after a 1-2 second delay, then proceded to pull it until it stalled out!!

The PSD seemed to never have a chance, it broke traction then proceeded to smoke those dually quite nicely.

All were reported to be as equally equipped as possible from the factory. Although the PSD was Dually CC. The others were dually SC. And I'm not sure of the available gearing the Mopar trucks.

Let me know if you have seen it and what you thought. I'd post a link but don't remember where I got it from. It is also a Quicktime application, so I don't think it'll upload to my FTE website.

I remember when that clip was first released. The general consensus was that it was staged by the chebby people as more hype. I haven't seen it for awhile but it seems like the Ford driver broke traction on purpose while the chebby was riding low in the back like maybe there was extra weight in the bed.

Tug-o-war between PSD/Duramax/Cummins

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 08-Feb-02 AT 04:42 PM (EST)]Yeah, I think the GM product was a 2x4...

on edit...I just watched it again. It IS a 4x4 cause it has the fender flares. It IS low isn't it? But I don't think that could possibly help it could it? More weight and all...
