hey, i'm looking to put a diesel in my 1979 f-250 4X4. i have a NP435 4-speed transmission...and i dont want to toss it out. are there any ford diesels (most likely 80's) that have a NP435 4-speed or will at least bolt up?
any ideas are appreciated!

well I had thought about swaping motors in a truck too but was advised against it as the cost was way too high.. there is more than just the engine to change.. was told to bring check book if I wanted to contimue... thought I would pass that along to you
