6 Speed Shifter Replacement?
Has anyone changed the standard gear shift arm to one that odes not come so far at your leg?
my father just bought an '04 250 with the 6.0 manual, and his only complaint was how the gear shaft comes over a lot closer to his leg. Anyone seen a different shifter?

Yeah, I saw that, but I was looking for a different shaft altogether. Something that has a different angle to it. Dad is pretty tall and has a good reach, so he could stand it to go a little farther towards the passenger side some. I am looking for something that bends differently.
