I took mine to Less Swab. They will try on tires until they find one you like and make sure it fits correctly. I have heard that many tire shops do this as a service for their customers. Giood luck, John
After doing a bunch of measuring these past years. I believe a 275-60x15 is max. And they are guaranteed to rub if you lower the truck later. 255-60 will fit nicely on a lowered truck.

Thanks for the help. I plan to use 8X15 255/70 in the rear and 5X15 205/75 in the front for more of a raked look and ease of steering. I have a F-600 steering box as I did not want power steering in my '60's style street rod.
Terry,
For what it's worth, I have 255/70X15's on 15X8" rims on the back and 225/70X15's on 15X7" rims on the front on my '59 (see my gallery, dated 6/03). The IFS brought the front end down about 3.5" and the rear springs are de-arced about 2.5" for a nice "raked" stance.
Feel free to check it out if it applies to what you're looking to do!

Any suggestions?
I really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Terry,
Sounds like a plan...I would double check the load rating on that 205/75 to be sure it will carry the load of your truck. It probably will as I used 165/80's on the front of a 32 Ford, but it was a lighter than a truck...
