Will headers benefit a diesel engine?

I've installed headers on both my 67 Camaro and 69 Chevrolet step side pickup. Feeling this improvement answered my question where these applications are concerned, but .... my concern now is regarding my Super Duty. Will headers enhance its performance? Better yet, well headers even install on a diesel?

I have not seen headers on a turbo diesel, however, someone is making polished exhaust manifolds for the PSD. Any gains? I don't know.
