Question Power brakes conversion

Anybody know wher I can get some info on installing power brakes?I have all I need to install discs but cant find any how to as far as the booster goes,what year,parts needed ,etc.

when I did it, all I did was get a used booster off of a 76 ford. It all bolts right up, and you will need to hook up the vacuum line.

moonley, did you use your existing mc with the booster?

I did use my original master cylinder. You will have to pull out the rod that sticks out the back and connects to the brake pedal, and push it into the booster if the booster doesn't already have one. It pulls out really hard, but it does pull out. Hope this helps!

Thanks! I was just wondering if you had any problems pulling out the rod.

Patrick when you get the booster also get the bracket that bolts to the firewall. Grab the vacuum fitting from the intake manifold too.

If I remember right, the rod was very difficult to pull out. Years of corrosion maybe? It was a few years ago when I did this, but I'm sure the procedure probably involved a bench vise and 2 lb hammer.
