i found a place that i can get a pyro, boost and trans temp gauges for $280 shipped, with the mounting pod foor the door pillar and all required hardware to install, the brand is issopro (sp) is that a good price?
Probably a good price but the ISSPRO gauges have "power modules" for the tranny and pyro gauges. You must find a place for them under your dash and zip tie them up somewhere. They have termination points for the power and gauge signals. Kind of a poor gauge and power design IMHO.
All other guage manufacturers do not have these modules and wire direct to the sensors and to the power point of your choosing.
I have used Autometers for years and never had a problem. Great quality, accurate, good looks, great variety of styles and faces, easy installation, easy to find accessories, etc.
Priorities in selecting gauges for me is accuracy 1st, durability 2nd, ease of installation 3rd, parts and accessory availability 4th, aesthetics 5th, price 6th.
Yep - I got my a-pod and autometer gauges for $300 - everything needed package deal! I am VERY happy with my gauges and I would recomend Autometer to anyone!!
Standard pyro, tranny and boost in the "A" pillar.
Under dash pod; mechanical oil pressure, coolant temp and voltmeter.
(Wished I went with the differential temp instead of the voltmeter, had a brain fart, I still may remove the voltmeter and replace it anyway).
