hello there everybody.
I own a 94 f450 superduty and was wondering where the clutch pedal engage mine engages just barely off the floor board and is hard to shift unless you have the clutch depressed over halfway. The truck has a fluid clutch which means no adjustment right. Can someone please respond to my question.
I have been through at least a dozen bushings on my '95. I usually keep one in the glove box for a spare. They are easy to change out, helps to have a light to see by though. I changed it once or twice in the dark on the side of the road, not fun. oh yea, They cost about 5 bucks each.
It is real easy to change. Just crawl under the dash and look at it. The bushing is white and the old one comes off pretty easy most of the time. It is close to the firewall and a little tight but not that hard to get to really. You just slip off the old one and then press the new one on. Put the bushing inside the arm and then just push it all on together. If you have any doubts ask someone at Ford when you go to buy the bushings. It only takes a minute to change out.
