Tailgate rattling
my tailgate will rattle pretty bad when i go down the road. i know from over time that the swinging tire rack sags a little, so when i shut the tire, the tailgate is pulled further out. there is a lot of play in the tailgate when it's closed. what should i do?

Your striker bolt has a nylon bushing, if that bushing is worn out it will give your tailgate excessive play. If bushings are okay then try adjusting the bolt. Let us know what you've come across.

I think the help rack at most parts stores has em. I think you can get it both ways, whatever floats your boat. Might be easier to just get the bushing, because the replacement bolt may be different.
