Driven on water
This happend about 3-4 months ago.
I was doing a routine change of fluids on my Bronco when I fiqured it was time to change the fluid in the rear. I ordered a chrome cover cause I fiqured if I was going to take off the old one, might as well up grade.
As I opened the rear cover, nothing but a chocolate milkshake came out, in a cluppy matter, not very plesent looking. It took me all this time to fiqure out how it got in there, (the water). I bought the Bronco in Dec of 2000, in Jan of 2001 I took it 4x4ing for the first time ever( it has never been offroad before). During the 4x4ing, I got blefly stuck in a water hole in the mddle of the mud. That was the only time water has ever been higher then the axel in the 3 1/2 years of owning it. So for over 3 years, I have been driving around with water in my rear.
So, the point of the story is, if u ever think your rear has gotten dunked under water, change your fluid
I know theres got to be a joke in there somewhere...
Last weekend changed ALL fluids and extended ALL vent lines. Very good idea to do if you plan on encountering some water. Surprisingly the only bad fluid I found was in the rear diff, but now its vented above the tail lights so it shouldn't happen again

HAhaha, making fun of my title.
I need to reroute my vent lines for both front and back.

I miss doing that, in my '86 ranger I had, flood waters were great.
