1988 e150 - 302 efi conversion van - quits after an hour of running really good, then won't start until it cools off a little. Has fuel pressure but no spark. After sitting for about 45 min, then it will start and run a while again. Have replaced tfi, hall effect(in distributor), coil, distributor cap and rotor. Have tried a second (known good) tfi while its hot and still get no spark. So... about the only thing left is the EEC power relay. I see it in the schematic in my Chilton book, it is supposed to be behind passenger side kick panel, but I can find nothing there that looks like a relay. Can anybody help?? Whats it look like?

I have a 92 E150, if what your looking for is what I think..... I just seen it today, it's on the driver side fender towards the back. It's kinda in the shadows and was really hard the see, the only reason I seen it was I was checking the inline spout connector. Hope this helps.
I'm not sure if you found it or not, but it is under a plastic cover with another relay the same size. They both snap into this cover, by removing the screws holding it to the fender wall you can turn it upside down and remove 1 or both relays by releasing the platic tabs holding them in.
